Valentina Roșca is an Associate at BDW, based in the firm’s Amsterdam office, with extensive experience in sanctions, export-control, and regulatory enforcement matters.

She advises clients on a broad range of compliance issues, including designing and implementing sanctions and export control programmes, navigating regulatory enforcement processes, and addressing broader compliance challenges in the digital and technology sectors. Valentina also has expertise in litigation strategy and case management, and has supported clients in proceedings in the United Kingdom and multi-jurisdictional disputes. She regularly assists clients in navigating complex regulatory environments, guides them through controls by national authorities, and helps secure the necessary regulatory authorisations.

Prior to joining BDW, Valentina worked at an international law firm in Amsterdam, advising financial institutions and multinational corporations on cross-border litigation matters.

Valentina holds an LLB in International and European Law from the University of Groningen and an LLM in European Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam. She works in English and Romanian.
